Dear La Sallians, It is with deep sadness that I inform you that Bro. Cassian Pappu passed away peacefully at 5.00am this morning, Sunday 29th November 2009 in Lecadia Nursing Home, Jalan Pudu, Kuala Lumpur. He was 82 years of age.
Provisional arrangements for the funeral service are as follows: Sunday 29th November 5.00pm Transfer of the body to the School Chapel at St. John's Institution, Kuala Lumpur Wake-keeping Sunday and Monday nights Tuesday 1st December 10.00am Funeral Mass in St. John's Cathedral followed by cremation. Wednesday 2nd December 10.00am Internment at Cheras Cemetery. Bro. Cassian fell into a coma on 21st July 2008 following surgery. The Lord has now given him a blessed release and may his good and gentle soul rest in peace. Fraternally and in gratitude
